long songs, songs within songs, short songs, silly songs.
this is the homage to the more progressive music i love and grew up with that i've always wanted to write but didn't have the talent or the means to play. this was resolved by the help of bruce, jason and sarah; the use of loops and the acquisition of a synth. more complex ideas, sectional composition and challenging rhythms and grooves could be brought to life and i am extremely grateful for that.

For 34 years, I have been recording music. Not every year, but usually the years that follow on from a major life event (1995-97,2000-02, 2011-13, 2019). The music presents itself at these times and I use it to find a way to make sense of things. Post 2020, I'm writing and recording just for the love of it.
